DéDé Dancer
I am Ingeborg Schuurmans and I am 47 years old. Most will know me as the mother of teachers Anne and Bregje. Also, I am Isa's aunt. All three have been dancing at DéDé for several years. In daily life, I work at a laboratory. In my spare time I like to hike and dance at DéDé in the adult group in Brouwhuis with teacher Kim.
What does DéDé Dance mean to you?
DéDé means to me, dancing for good relaxation and health. But also lots of fun! We may still have a small dance group, but every class is hard work with a lot of fun. It is a nice outlet after a week of work.
What is your favorite moment at DéDé Dance?
That's a hard choice to make. There are several. Anne and Bregje's very first shows and dance competitions. D-Mission in 2016. The dance class at the PSV stadium in 2017. But the very best moment I expect is in 2024. Then I will be back on stage at the shows myself for the first time in 35 years. Super exciting, but lots of fun! Especially since I get to dance with my daughters.
