Teacher at DéDé Classic
I am Nora Deters. For almost 30 years I have been teaching dance. The face of DéDé-classic since 2009. Mondays and Wednesdays I teach children and adults the technique of classical ballet. On other days, I work as a caregiver IG on a closed PG unit for people with dementia.
What does DéDé Dance mean to you?
DéDé Dance is my 2nd family. I was able to realize my ideas of teaching classical ballet my way. At its peak, I had 20 groups and 300 students. I was in the studio 6 days a week. 4 years ago I decided to do something for society in another workfield and chose a profession in healthcare.
What is your favorite moment at DéDé Dance?
My favorite moments are the shows. After weeks of rehearsals in the studio, our classical ballet fairy tale comes to life on a stage. To see my students beaming in tutus is a wonderful moment.
