What makes teaching so much fun
The “DéDé feeling”; something often talked about. How I would describe it? The energy, enthusiasm and discipline is what binds us as a dance school and makes us distinctive in my eyes. Having fun, but at the same time working really hard with the group, that’s what makes me happy! Super proud to have been teaching for many years at the biggest dance school in the Netherlands!

Funny moment from your lesson
There are so many moments from my classes that will stay with me forever, but the moment a student came in with a piece of paper so she could ask for my autograph is something I won’t soon forget 🙂

What was your 1st DéDé dance?
I believe this was the Kids Mix! Time flies… And how nice that I then got to teach these to my students years later! Youth sentiment!

Nicest DéDé memory
Ehm you got a minute?! The first time performing on a big stage with the show Dreamz!, the D-Missions, dancing on pointe, signing my contract, making the first choreography, dancing in the Philips Stadium and of course the very first theater shows with students on stage: Once Upon A Dance.

How old were you when you started dancing?
Since my 3rd! I started at DéDé when I was 6 years old. My mother and sister were already dancing at DéDé at the time, so soon I decided to start too!
