DéDé Dance teacher Miriam

More about me

  • What makes teaching so much fun

It is so much fun to make sure every time that pink dancers from 2.5/3 years old are excited to come and dance at DéDé Dance as well. In my classes, I try to get the children to dance in a fairytale/playful way. Dotted pasting allows the children to choose their spot in the lesson. After each exercise, they may choose a different dot. Sometimes it takes a while for the children to figure out what is meant in the lesson but then after a few lessons I see that they suddenly participate very enthusiastically throughout the lesson my DéDé heart gets all happy!!!

  • Date of birth

    May 22, 1981

  • Funny moment from your lesson

During carnival class, a dancer dressed as a shark came up to me. Her fin was loose asking if I could reattach it. Sure the teacher will do that for a while. Then I saw that it should be attached with Velcro and saw Velcro on her hat so I stick the fin on her head. She really looked at me afterwards like what are you doing? The fin belongs on the back teacher and not on my head. ( again I am completely in a huff with this reminder)
