I always get so much energy from teaching. It’s always fun and I can go crazy. There is time for jokes, but of course there is also hard work to be done. That’s why class is never boring 🙂

In the circle at the beginning of class, I always joke that the teacher has fat buttocks. But when I had a hole in my leggings a student said “teacher I think you got a little too fat bottom because you have a hole in your leggings” and of course all the kids then laughed and I secretly did too 🙂

There are so many of them! I will never forget the very first time I got to train a Démoteam together with teacher Nienke and our kids won the game. But also my very first sleepover lesson together with my niece has always stayed with me. Since then, I have been every year and when I was old enough I also went to DéDé Holidé.

Don’t wanna go home

I was 7 when I started at DéDé. Before that, I was doing dances all day long at home.
